I have re-booted my phone 2 times this morning and each time it re-boots, it starts a mysterious music player. I cannot find any application open and playing. I have forced stop any music app. that appears to be running in the background, but the music won't stop. It appears to be some of my personal music, but I cannot get the player to stop playing. Help.
I am running 4.4 android on Galaxy note 3

Welcome to the forums. I would try pulling the battery for several minutes and try another reboot.

If you longpress on the player notification and tap App Info you will be able to see what application is playing the music.

If you do not receive a player notification, you can go to Settings -> Apps -> Swipe to Running to see what is running in the background.
