I bought what I thought was the Droid Maxx XT1080M online through ebay (primarily for the 32GB storage and 3500mAh battery).

However, the only markings I can find indicate XT1080 (it is on the back of the phone at the bottom). The phone reports 32GB storage and that it is a "Droid Maxx", but I am unaware of a way to check the battery.

Are there any Droid aficionados that can tell me how I know which battery is inside this thing?
