Woke up to find out that my Galaxy Nexus is rebooting randomly and booting also looping sometimes. Fantastic!

Did some searches on how to fix the problem, and found two ways:

    1) While the phone is running, go to Settings -> Backup & Restore -> Fabric Reset(Hard Reset).
Since my phone is rebooting so much, I never get a chance to complete this.

    2) Turn off the phone and enter recovery mode.
This gives me the very helpful error message "No Command".

My conclusion is fixing this problem from the phone is not possible. Although my knowledge about smart phones is limited so what do I know.

Anyway, how do I fix this?

You need to hold vol up and power for 3 secs when in recovery cant remember if its vol down or up though!

Thanks, found it. I pressed wipe data/hard reset or whatever the title was. I am not sure if the process completed or if my corrupted phone interrupted it.
Either way, the phone is still looping .

I guess it will hit the wall soon.

Unfortunately no. I don't have access to one. I tried with the charger plugged, if that makes any difference.

They're pretty cheap, so it might be worth buying one anyway: Amazon.com: OEM Samsung Galaxy Nexus SCH-I515 Standard Battery (1850mAh): Cell Phones & Accessories

Try getting back to the Recovery Menu, and select Wipe Cache Partition, then Reboot System Now. Also, if you have an SD card inserted, remove it--a corrupt card can cause issues.

Well, since I wiped data, the commands(Volume Down + Power button for 3 sec) in Recovery Mode stopped working.
The SD card it built it.

I will just buy a new one.

Thanks for all the help though

Are you sure that's the right button press combo? This support page says it's Vol Up and Vol Down together, then press Power: Perform a hardware factory reset - Galaxy Nexus
