I see that a lot of people had this issue on samsung phones.

I did absolutely nothing. The last thing I did with the camera was upload one photo to google drive. About an hour later I checked my phone to scroll through some pics and next thing you know theres no camera folder. I took another photo and it was the only photo in the camera folder. I checked es file explorer and there was nothing hidden, its completely deleted. This is a huge mistake on samsungs end. All 300 photos were not backed up I lost all the memories and photos. It was stored on internal memory too.

What do I do? This is a huge issue samsung should refund me.

Are you looking in /storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera? That's the default - there probably won't be pictures by default in any other "Camera" folder.

The directory can also be called /storage/sdcard0/DCIM/Camera/.
