How do I override the headphone jack to play music via Bluetooth?

For my note 3, I've got a little Bluetooth jambox, works great for music, but I also need to use a credit card reader at the same time, which plus into the headphone jack. As soon as I plug in the card reader, music cuts on the Bluetooth because the phone thinks I just plugged in headphones. Is there a way to override the headphone jack and continue music through Bluetooth?

Welcome to Android Central! Try an app like SoundAbout, which can give you control over how sound is routed. Be cautious, though--I'm not sure if this might also render the credit card reader useless. I assume the credit card reader transmits data using the contact that is normally used for remote controls (like pause, play, making calls, etc.), so if this app leaves that contact alone, it should work.
