I was texting with my daughter one day several months ago and one te she sent me all it says is "emailed.

Now every time I send her a text this same text pops up and I have to clear it each and every time I from my notification slider bar. It does not show up amongst any new text I have to scroll back through months worth of texts to find it it seems.

How do I get rid of this thing? Thanks!

Try Settings-Applications, select your messaging app and clear the cache. DO NOT CLEAR DATA or you will lose all of your old texts.

Just curious, if you do clear data in your messaging app, does it clear anything other than texts? I don't usually hang onto my texts for long, so it might be a convenient way to erase them all---but only if there are no other unexpected repercussions.

Didn't help. Even cleared the default Messenger cache. Anyone got any other ideas?
