Hello, I have recently bought a Google Nexus 5 and want to use it to play music in my car whilst I am driving. However I don't want to keep unlocking my phone or using the touch screen to change track while I am driving.

Does a cable exist to connect my phone to the aux input in my car that has buttons to skip tracks?

My car only has an aux input so anything Bluetooth is out of the question. Also I am from the UK, so please only suggest stuff available in the UK.

    Thanks.

An earphone with skip buttons that works on your phone (not all buttons on earphones work on all phones, so either check before you leave the store or make sure they have a liberal "it doesn't work on my phone" return policy). Cut off the earphone and connect a plug that mates with the aux jack in the car. (If you can't solder a connection, any technician and almost any amateur radio operator can do it for you. You can also extend the wire at the same time, if it's too short to dress neatly.)
