Think road trip with kids, and a desire NOT to blow out a data plan.
So, in the minivan, kids have tablets and dad has a tablet.
Would like to setup a network between the 4 tablets, wherein dad could start a movie and the other tablets could watch it - with dad's tablet being the control.
or (another scenario)
Launch a multiplayer game of some nature on dad's tablet, and allow the kids to jump in and play.
Is such a thing possible, or no? Seems to me these sophisticated devices should be able to operate in such a way WITHOUT having to ping the internet, or hit a data plan.
Any help finding a solution would be welcome.
