How do I set my Tablet brightness and keep it changed?

Brightness issue

Hey I wanted to know if you would help me. On my Dragon Touch android tablet, when I try to adjust my brightness it doesnt change. It just stays on the highest setting, killing my battery too. I tried a factory reset but it didnt work.

Try installing Velis Auto Brightness. If that doesn't do anything, and the tab is under warranty, have it replaced. (I know Velis works - I've been using it for quite a long time.) If it's no longer under warranty ... well, whether you want to spend the money on getting it fixed (even reflashing a ROM can cost as much as some cheap tablets) is up to you. (The 7" is $55 - hardly worth repairing. You might save $5 or $10 by repairing instead of replacing. Once the unit is opened, the meter is running. The 10" might pay to repair if it's a cheap repair job.)
