I use my Galaxy Note 8.0 in situations where even a very compact Windows laptop is too cumbersome. Recently I have a need to access very large PDF (>30 MB) documents, and I'm not a big fan of Google Drive for this purpose. Ideally I would like to use the same storage source for these documents, which is USB flash drives. Can Galaxy Note 8.0 (Android) read this format of media?

Welcome to Android Central! It should work, as long as you use an OTG cable to connect the USB drive to the phone's microUSB port.
