im switching into a replacement....how do i transfer all my music and pictures so i dont lose them?

My screen is defective so I've got a replacement.... But how do transfer everything from one phone to the other? Im afraid I'm gonna lose all my music. I do have a memory card from an old old android. This new phone has a SIM card also,

None of that should exist ONLY on your phone. Back it up to an online service (Dropbox, Google Play Music, etc) over wifi then download it back onto your new handset.

And keep it backed up regularly!
