How do I get the screen to display?

Notification light working, charging cause its red, if I knock it the notification changes ... the phone is fully on. I can change the volume. If I tap it vibrates like I am doing something .... but cannot tap unlock or wake screen. Tried soft reboot man times. No luck

Sounds like a bad LED panell in the screen, which means a screen replacement.
