Why is it all of a sudden I can't text or play music?

Suddenly can't text or play music

Hadn't tried in a couple of days, but went to play music on my phone yesterday and nothing. Never had a problem before. Then today I had sent a few texts back and forth...sent one to a friend this evening who sent one back. Went to reply and I get an error message "You have insufficient funds to send message" Tried to text numerous people with the same result. I only have a pay as you go phone (all I need)...but on my balance I have available 815 minutes, 435 texts and 54 M of data...wtf ? What funds ??? Huawei h868c...4.0.4 Android

Welcome to Android Central! Was the music you wanted to play locally stored, or on a streaming service? If it's streaming, then it sounds like your carrier thinks you've used up all of your data and your SMS allotment, despite what your balance tells you. I would contact the carrier's customer support and ask them what the problem is.

Music is locally stored...what about not being able to text

Does this persist after a reboot? I'd suggest wiping the cache partition, but I can't find that on the web.
