I have a Samsung Note 4. The OS is Lollipop 5.01. I have owned the phone for a couple of months and I have not been able to connect to the wifi at my gym. Here are the usual steps for accessing the wifi:

    1) click the Sanford Wellness network under available networks

    2) sign into the network to connect

    3) click "accept waiver" after redirection to the waiver page after signing into the network

Steps 1 and 2 are carried out, but step 3 doesn't work. After signing into the network Chrome throws up "unable to connect to the internet" instead of redirecting me to the waiver page.

Anyone have any idea what is required to make step 3 happen?

First, try a different browser. If that works, it's a setting in Chrome (which is the most likely cause). If not, it could be a firewall or a popup blocker you're running. (Also check to see if anyone else running a Samsung phone with Lollipop can connect properly. If not, it's a problem with the router or with Lollipop.)

The internet browser that came with the phone redirected and opened the waiver page. Chrome is the problem.
