need help with mytouch 4g

I recently bought a mytouch 4g and it has been updated to the new gingerbread os and everything works fine except i cant get the wifi to work
it wont even scan for networks idk wat to do
im pretty sure i just have to reinstall the orignall firmware it came with but i dont no how to do that if any 1 could help me i would very much appreciate it

pleazzz hellpppp!!!!! mytouch 4g did rooting went fine start overclickin at the end it says to reboot , phone rebooted n started to continue to restart n restart n restart... befor i backed files , went to restore it kinda did but fone frozen at start up window mytouch 4 g pleaze help i think i need new stock rom or sometin
