My tablet won't auto rotate and gets very hot even when not in use

Because of the hot environment in my country, my tablet gets hotter even when not in use. So I've decide to put my tablet inside the refrigerator for a little while. But sadly I forgot to take my tablet out of the refrigerator for hours (about 4 hours). When I already take it out, the screen won't auto rotate anymore. My battery is also draining faster and gets very hot, even when I am not using it. I already tried wiping everything, clear the cache and dalvik cache but it doesn't solve my problem. Please help me.

Welcome to Android Central.

Surely you are risking water damage caused by condensation?
Also, if the battery is getting excessively hot, it may be failing.
