Not sure if this is specific to Motorola's, I will explain. I just got my new moto g 2nd generation. I'm in the process of sorting out the layout how I like it. I like to have the home page of the phone as blank, with frequently used apps on the bottom and then widgets and other apps on adjacent pages so I can swipe over if needs be. However in trying to do this it won't let me have a blank home sceen, if I move everything off it it just deletes that page and shifts everything over so the widjets become the home page. Does anyone have a work around or see a way I'm being stupid? Sorry for the bad explanation, its probably why I can't find anything online about it as its quite a hard concept to sum up in a google search. Thanks for the help guys

Download a 3rd party launcher like Nova, it will allow you to have black pages and much more options for customization then OEM launchers.
