How can I stop high data usage?

I dont know how to stop whatever is running when Im not I am using over 10 GB of data a month and am probably online less than 3 hr a day.. I don't watch videos or stream music. I've tried to understand it through the apps usage

check your data usage in the settings under network it should tell you whats sucking it all up.
