Why am I unable to connect to the server?

Unable to connect server

After i turn on my step 2 gmail verification , my google application is unable to connect i can't send and recieved email ..i already choose the device to generate but i don't know where to put my application password ..help pls..the notification on me is very annoying ..

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have Google Authenticator installed anywhere? That's the ideal thing to use.
