Lose family pictures folder during file transfer using File Manager app for Android. Please help.

Hi,

1. I was moving one picture folder (named: Baby) to another main folder (named: Pictures) using File Manager app for Android from another main folder
2. Notification popped up: Transfer failed
3. Folder did move to new location but empty
4. Went back to origin main folder, folder was no longer there
5. I looked to QuickPic (my main picture app), all pictures are gone
6. Connect my phone to PC, Baby folder is indeed under the Pictures folder
7. Double clic and I see photos icon
8. However, I can't open or copy any of the photos. The photos are still there, I think, but I can't open any of them
9. 174 files, my son's pictures from birth and now he's 2 years old.

Please please help. How can I recover those pictures. File manager app indicates that Baby folder size is Zero but I can see on my PC that it's still there. At least the pic icons are there. I can highlight them but can't copy or open them.

Please help. Comments, guides will be appreciated :'(
