How to open my Android phone without having to enter a password or pin.

I never before had to enter a password or pin to open my Motorola Android phone. Since adding an account to receive my company email which does require a password, I now have to enter that password or pin just to open my phone. How can I eliminate that requirement?

Welcome to Android Central! That's probably part of the security policy of your company's email. If you go to Settings>Security>Clear Credentials, you might be able to get rid of the password requirement, but you might also cause problems with accessing your company's email.

If you go into Settings>Security>PIN then confirm the PIN, it will give you the options for screen lock. The ones you can't use will show as "Disabled by administrator". Your company IT policy likely requires device security and there is no way around it if you want to get company email on the device.
