My Android will not stay connected to my Honda Civic, how can I get it to stay paired?

my android will not stay connected to my honda civic

my phone will connect to my car but after about 30 to 60 seconds, it drops off

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you mean Bluetooth, right? Are you trying to stream music, or make calls? Are there any other Bluetooth devices in the car?

Honda hasn't updated to the way Lollipop does Bluetooth yet. Lollipop uses the latest format, even the 2015 Hondas don't yet.
