On my LG 3 verizon I every time I attempt to open the browser I have this notification from safe-android-protect.com that I have 11 viruses and they want to do a scan, and won't let me do anything else at all. My anti virus says that there are no viruses. Is this a real anti virus or something that infiltrated my tablet?

Welcome to Android Central! Kill that website with fire.

It's a scareware popup. They're just trying to lure you into installing some bogus "antivirus" app that is itself probably malicious. Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select the browser, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open the browser again and see if it redirects you again.

I followed the suggestion from B. Diddy and it worked. It cleared all my browser data, I have to start Chrome from scratch again, but it removed the the problem. Thanks
