Why am I keep getting on my gmail screen: Internal Error

I was trying to pull up my Inbox. It worked find on yesterday but I went in and put a lot of my messages in the thrash can.

Are you seeing the message from within the GMail app? (IOW, is the app generating the message?) Then it's a problem with the GMail server - your app is asking it to do something that's causing the server to crash your session.

Or are you getting the error message when you try to run the GMail app? In that case, try clearing the cache and data in GMail (Application manager, tap GMail, tap Clear cache, tap Clear data).
