Need to access internal storage of DEAD Motorola Admiral XT603

I have a dead Motorola Admiral XT603 phone. I need to get the pictures and video off the internal storage. I've tried a few different software programs to try and retrieve the data but none of the programs see the phone.

Device Manager sees it as Forge HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (com 3).

Is there anything I can do to retrieve the data? Will changing the charging port help?

I would appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks!

Re: Need to access internal storage of DEAD Motorola Admiral XT603

Did you search on XDA forum with "HS-USB QDLoader 9008" ?
They are some tools to extract the ROM, so try it and unpack USERDATA.img partition.
Or do heat the soldering iron

Once you have an img file of the userdata partition, you can use PhotoRec to pull the files off. Run photorec userdata.img (or whatever you named the file).

Re: Need to access internal storage of DEAD Motorola Admiral XT603

I tried several of the options I found on XDA plus a few of the Android forums. No matter what I do I can never quite see anything on the device. I decided to take it to a repair shop to see if they can retrieve the pictures and videos.

Thanks!
