How to make multiple home screen shortcuts on the home screen?

Hi,

I am using a Xiomi Note 4G. Just to keep all my apps well organised and easily accessible, I want to make multiple folders on the home screen, each for a particular app category like - entertainment, social media, shopping, games etc and put the launchers of the app that belong to a particular category into that folder.

Now there are some apps, whose launchers I want to put up in multiple folders. Now, how can I make mutiple launchers of the same app and put one in one folder and other in another folder?

Hi Mayank, welcome to the forums! Xiaomi phones (MIUI) don't come with an app drawer, so the best thing could be downloading an app that creates one. There are some apps specific for Xiaomi but I haven't tried any of them. Other possibility it's installing a custom launcher such as Nova.

Once you've got and app drawer you can drag a shortcut to your home screen as many times as you want. Also, this way you don't need to have all your apps in your home screens.
