Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, but can you clarify your question? The Chrome browser shouldn't affect the wallpaper on the homescreen. Do you think the Chrome browser is somehow changing the wallpaper on the homescreen, and therefore you want to uninstall Chrome?

Uninstalling Chrome should be easy, assuming it wasn't preloaded. Go to Settings>Apps>All, select Chrome, and Uninstall. If Chrome was preinstalled, though, you'll only be able to Uninstall Updates.

Root your device? I think? If you really want to remove Chrome. I think you can remove anything after root. Never done it myself, but a good friend has rooted the hell out of multiple phones.
