how do i repair my htc desire touch screen without having to get a new one?

i left my phone on my kitchen table and my husband accidentally put a dinner plate on top of it.now its turned black.i can still receive calls by pressing where the 'accept'button is supposed to be but i cant see anything.i know it can be fixed easily because when i try bending the phone the screen displays a different color.Its HTC Desire 816 Dual Sim phone and i really love it.So can please someone HELP......

You need a new screen. Once you break an LCD, you can't "fix" it.
