How do I save my text messages

I have some text messages that I have to save due to a lawsuit. Can I forward them to my PC and would Dropbox be a good place to store them?

For a lawsuit, I'd save them in 2 formats. Use SMS to Text to save them in human-readable form and SMS Backup & Restore to save the original format, in case any questions arise. You'll get two separate folders, one for each app. Save them both to your computer AND to at least one cloud account. (I usually save rally important stuff to 2 or 3 cloud accounts. You can't have too many backups, and there's enough free storage out there to make a lot of backups of everything you have.
