Well depending on your phone say you're sending a text message and you type a text message you hold your finger down until it says copy and then and then wherever you want to paste it just hold your finger for a second on that area and a little box will come up that says paste and that's it I hope this helps you out I have a droid Maxx turbo and that's how I do it online works on emails text messages virtually you have to type anything. Well I hope this helps you out and answer the question if not call your phones carrier and they'll be able to help you under tech support

    Thank you from Mike Sears

    Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

also just slide the end bars to where you want to cut or copy, and tap the cut or copy icon.

I use the Clipper app which I recommend as it stores 20 clips, so the icons in this shot may be those.
