Why does screen use 48 of battery?

Why does screen use 48% of battery

I have a Samsung S3.
My screen is at 48% of battery usage. I have it set to auto tone, auto adjust and power save.
I do have one of the Zedge wallpapers but it only shows when the phone is active.

Welcome to AC.

With normal use, Screen will nearly always top the battery usage list.
Use your phone normally for a day, and before you need to recharge, make a screenshot of your battery usage stats in Settings, Battery, and post it here. We'll try to judge whether anything seems abnormal.
