[AC Question]

Brand new out of the box. I plugged it in to charge and I'm getting a flashing read question mark in the battery icon.

This is a very active site, so it's not uncommon for a thread to be buried quickly. I don't even recall seeing the original posting.

I haven't personally had this question mark issue, but I'd check the battery and connections. If it's a brand new phone, then see if you can take it to the store and swap the battery with another phone and see if you have the same problem. It sounds like the phone isn't recognizing the battery, or perhaps thinks the battery is defective and unable to accept a charge.

It may also be a faulty wall charger or cable.
