So I had 3 folders and my camera folder in my gallery. I had pictures from twitter, downloaded pictures, and screenshots. I moved them all to the camera folder that is on my sd card. It showed all the pictures i had in the camera folder. Then I turned off my phone and took out the sd card and put it back to see if they were still in the folder. Sure enough they were not. Now I'm wondering if the pictures are lost forever or can i get them back somehow. I have a Galaxy S3

Welcome to Android Central! Were you using My Files or some other file manager to look for them in that directory, or were you just using the Gallery app? Use a file manager app, or insert the SD card into your computer and use Windows Explorer to look for the photos.
