Hey Guys,
I'm new to this forum and was wondering if I can get some help.
I have an HTC M8. Recently as the rest of you I had to update to Lolipop 5.0 with HTC Sense 6.0
Well the device ran sluggish so I decided to remove all the data from it (photos contacts etc..) and factory restore
All went well and the phone is running better, only one heck up!
As I was transferring my files back to the phone, the connection was interrupted and I basically lost all my photo DCIM folder.
I cannot find the files on the PC or the phone. On the phone the DCIM folder I was copying to is empty and just has two big "THUMBDATA3" files, each at 1.5GB
I did "cut" and "paste" from my PC to the phones memory. It was during that transfer when the connection was interrupted.
Is there a way I can recover some of those photos? I'm not photogenic or much of a photo person but some of these photos were important. some of you will say "why didnt u back it up?" well I was going to copy them back on the phone and back them up at home since I'm at work. that is all
I appreciate all your help on this manner!
