    Hello,

Doing a refurbish on a Samsung Note 10.1 (GT-N8000). Tablet is not powering on. After opening the tablet I inspected all ribon cables and connectors, all look in good condition. I continue measuring the battery voltage. The Notes two red cables are reading about 3.5v - 3.8v. The blue which I assume is the charging lead is flat 0v. I check the 30pin charging port and looks like there may be a degree of corrosion.

The tablet was missing its 30pin charging cable. I had to order a replacement cable. I have nothing else to test the charging cable with. So, its quality is unknown.

    Opinions please:

Does this sound like a charging port issue? The under side of the charging cable looks like there may be an imperfect as well.
Could this be a battery issue instead? I would think if that was the case the tablet would at least try to power up.

    Thanks
