I have photos taken on a camera that I want to view on my phone or tablet. The photos are on a micro sd card. I plugged my sd card into a device that connects it to the right connector to plug into my phone but it is not recognized. The light does not come on the SD card reader and it is not seen my the MY Files app.
When I plug this SD reader into my laptop, everything works fine and I can see my pictures under the "e" drive. There has to be an app or something that will recognize a device plugged into the port.
Any help? I am using either a Note 4 or a Galaxy Tab 4 and neither one recognizes the card reader when plugged in.

Really? Hundreds of views and nobody knows of a solution? Let me re-word the problem. I have an SD Reader and when connected to my Note 4 or my Tab 4, it is not recognized. Does anybody know how to use this device so I can ready an external SD card?
    Thank-you
