I've got 2 problems with reading Hebrew on my desire HD (froyo 2.2):
1.) When receiving a text in Hebrew that has dates or phone numbers, I would see the numbers written in the wrong direction (i.e. instead of 617-123456 I would see 654321-716 / instead of 7.14 I would see 41.7). Although if the text surrounding is written in English there's no problem with the numbers. (As if the OS identifies the Hebrew language as a right-to-left language, but it also converts the numbers to be right-to-left!!)
2.) When receiving notification of a new email that's written in Hebrew, in the notification bar I would see the hebrew text in the wrong direction (i.e. instead of 'direction' it would read 'noitcerid' (in other words - it would read the hebrew letters left-to-right instead of right-to-left)) Although when opening the email itself, it reads just fine.
Anybody knows any workarounds for these annoying issues?
