"cannot connect" error on Google Play Store!
I bought my son a 7" tablet which is running Android version 4.4.2.
Although I'm not very familiar with Android, I'm fairly tech-savvy, but cannot get Google Play Store to work - I keep getting the "cannot connect" error with the "RETRY" button. Its driving me insane! Everything else works (other apps, internet etc.) but not the play store!
So far I've tried the following, most of them multiple times:
- have set time/date automatically via network
- have set time/date manually
- have cleared cache of app
- turned airplane mode on/off
- removed google account and re-added
- tried different google accounts
- did factory reset
None of the above have worked. The only thing I've noticed is that the Google account sync keeps showing as "failed" so assuming its maybe something to do with that? Again have tried removing and re-adding Google account(s).
Can anybody please help?
