Why do I keep getting pop ups telling me my apps have stopped working?

why do i keep getting pop ups telling me my apps have stopped working?

when i'm using an app i get a pop up that says "unfortunately (name of app) has stopped working. And i cant figure out whats causing it

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does it only happen with one app, or with many different apps? It's usually a sign that the app itself is buggy, or there is some kind of conflict with another app.
