    Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist after a reboot? Have you disabled any system apps?

    Did you get it fixed? Do this go to settings > application/application manager, go to google app, click on uninstall update. That ought to do it.

    It's due to a recent google update.

    I had the same problem start with my Galaxy S III Mini about 10 days ago. I chatted with Pooja P. on the Samsung Customer Support chat line but he/she could not fix the problem so referred me to the Samsung Voice help line, 888-987-4357, and opened a repair ticket for me. The tech I reached half an hour ago knew exactly what the problem was and walked me through step by step uninstalling the Google App updates. The problem immediately went away.
