On my Galaxy S5, when I look at the Usage Manager it says that Phone has used a good amount of battery. This has been happening for about a week, even though I never even called anyone. Is there a reason for this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Do you see a separate Cell Standby listed in the battery stats? If not, I wonder if your device is including Cell Standby into the Phone listing. Cell Standby represents the battery used by the cell radio while idling and trying to maintain a connection. If the signal is poor, Cell Standby will use more energy to maintain that signal, so the battery usage percentage will go up.
