BIG games showing as very small installs on system storage?

Hey guys, I'm currently using a Galaxy S6 edge+ and I've noticed this weird thing happening when I look under storage. I upgraded from a 32gb Note 4 to a 32gb edge+ and being an avid fan of console-quality games I had to be careful with how many HD games I installed on my phone for storage-management purposes.

However, after upgrading I noticed that games which previously took up a lot of memory on my old Note 4 are showing up as very small on the edge+. I will attach a screenshot of what I mean. Unfortunately I can't screenshot my old Note 4 as I have sold it but I know for a fact that Asphalt 8 and Implosion are both 1gb+ downloads and showed as such on the Note 4. However on the edge+ they both show as under 100mb.

The games are both fully functional and work flawlessly so I'm inclined to think my system storage is displaying incorrectly or I'm missing something. This obviously presents a problem down the line if I continue to install more games believing that I have more available storage than I actually do. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

If you select one of those apps and look at more details, does it still show that same amount of storage taken up?

Yeah. And this one was a recent install and the download file was over 1gb.

Very weird. What does it say in your Settings>Storage menu? Does the total App storage make sense there?

I downloaded another big game xcom which is 3.6gb and the total used space increased the appropriate amount but again, the app itself is listed as only taking 50mb of space.
