When I go to send a text massage it takes 5 min or more to send even in strong signal area, why?

when i go to send a text massage it takes 5 min or more to send even in strong signal area

that little thinking circle just keeps going round and round. took to att store they put a new sim card in and still does the same thing. please help before i throw it out the window.

Have you tried installing a different messaging app and seeing if the problem persists? have a look at https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ndroid.apps.messaging&hl=en_GB&token=rG75cJII and see if that helps at all?
