saving photos to gallery not SD card

I've inserted new sd card and now when taking a photo, photos will not display in gallery.. how do I change settings for photos to save to gallery.

Welcome to Android Central! Remember that the Gallery isn't a location--it's an app that has a database of all of the images saved locally, which is itself populated by the system's Media Scanner.

Where are the photos being saved by default by the Camera? Is it set to save to Internal Storage or SD? Use a file manager to look at the /DCIM/Camera directory where the photos are supposed to be saving, and look for a file called ".nomedia". If you see it, delete it. .nomedia instructs the Media Scanner to ignore images in that directory.
