Why does my device just keep connecting and disconnecting every few seconds?

my device just keeps connecting and disconnecting every few seconds

i cannot connect my mobile phone to my pc without battery (actually i need to flash the mobile), it keeps connecting and disconnecting. i try installing drivers but still the same.. please help to resolve it

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried a different USB cable, as well as a different USB port on the computer?

I missed this the first time around--you're connecting the phone to the computer via USB when the phone has no battery? That may be the problem. Phones usually need a battery in order to function, even when plugged in.

actually it need to connect with out battery in order to flash the mobile.
