The sound on my S4 randomly stops working. both speakers.
The phone gets all glitchy, videos randomly play in fast or slow motion. And if I get a call they can hear me just fine but I can't hear as both speakers aren't working. It is remedied by restarting the phone but will happen again in a few hours or even sometimes a few minutes. I have factory reset my phone and cleared the cache. samsung says it is time for a service. do I have any options since my phone is over a year old. When I was with apple they were really good about just replacing phones,is there any options like that with samsung?

Welcome to Android Central! If you have an SD card, try using a different one, in case that card is corrupt and causing issues. The problem might also be due to a 3rd party app, which can be difficult to pinpoint. Sometimes you just have to uninstall apps one by one until the behavior stops. Or do a factory reset, and reinstall apps one by one.
