I've been told the Note5 on Sprint is one of the best, if not the best on Sprint for grabbing weak signals.

I'm curious if the standard S6 (not edge, not edge+) has the same RF scores as its cousin the Note5.

I live in a fringe area of Sprint/Spark

    thanks

If you live in a fringe area of Sprint, you shouldn't be using Sprint.

The FIRST thing you do when getting a cellphone is finding out which carriers have a strong signal where yoou are. Then you choose among them.

A weak signal (which is what you'll get in a fringe area, no matter how good the antenna and/or receiver, will cause the transmitter to run a maximum output, eating battery very quickly. So it's not just a matter of how good the signal will be (with digital signals there's no static - the signal either is there or it's not), it's a matter of your battery only lasting a few hours between charges.
