Dual sim ACTIVE phones?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a phone that can run 2 sim simultaneously.
I saw plenty of devices that can have the dual sim, but I didn't understand if they can be really used together.
I was checking out the Galaxy S6, Note 5, Oneplus 2 and LG G4.
Is there a "forwarding" option perhaps to fix the not "active" problem? That one sim directs the calls to another?
Or if there are any other good devices out there I would like to hear about those.

Check out ASUS Zenphone 2 4GB version I am using it and its a dual active phone .. however only one sims have 4G LTE connection
