how do i remove obad.a backdoor virus?

I keep getting popups on my device telling me i have this virus, but cant find it on any antivirus app or in my downloads. Also get app spam from words with friends even though i've never even had it installed. Not quite sure what to do to stop the popups. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It is malware. Clear Cache and data for your browser, and do the same, but followed by Uninstall, for any dubious apps you may have installed.
