    The message Unfortunately, google search has stopped keeps popping up on my phone and I can't get rid of it.

    Welcome, and please forgive the tardy reply.

    The first thing to try is to go to Settings, Apps, All, Google, and select Clear Cache. Follow that with a Power Off and Restart of the device.
    If still no go, get back to us.
